Meet the trio of women who have shaped BEAM and get to know the impressive skills that they bring to the fieldwork table.
Amy
Experiences & specialities
I’m the ultimate people person. I specialise in making people feel happy about their interaction, experience, outcome and rewards, so they come time and again.
What I bring to the table
My whole (almost) 30-year career has been in the research space, working from the ground up, which gives me a 360 experience of research delivery.
What I’m passionate about
As a business owner I think it is important not to rest on my laurels, an am eager to learn and develop my knowledge and qualities to better BEAM and encourage and develop young people in their research careers. As an active member of the MRS B2B Network, and having recently returned to education to complete a management and development course to improve BEAM in the future, I never focus on limitations, only opportunities for growth and success.
What I love to work on
I love to return to managing projects when time allows. There’s nothing better than a meaty challenging brief that tests my ability to find recruits, spin plates, and know that BEAM have truly delivered excellence
Kay
Experiences & specialities
I have 15 years of advertising and marketing experience working with some of Britain’s biggest FMCG brands including Greggs, Asda and Arla.
What I bring to the table
I bring the foresight to anticipate future problems and successes, and a relentless appetite to make complicated things easier.
What I’m passionate about
I obsessed with getting it right without compromise. I’m always testing, trialling, designing and refining, so when it’s go-live time people think about their interaction. It creates a positive feeling in them, and they do something because of their experience.
What I love to work on
My favourite type of work is taking something that people might see as dry or boring, and making it exciting. This excitement might come from how something looks, the results it reveals, how easy it is to use, or that it’s just a massive improvement. Whatever it delivers, it must always be better than it once was.

Experience & specialities
With a career in research spanning nearly 30 years, I had the fortune and privilege of leading research and operations teams in three of the ‘Research Big Boys’ – IPSOS, Toluna and Kantar – in London, Manchester and New York, before joining BEAM Fieldwork. My research specialism lies in service measurement and quantitative research for online panel and community providers, but my professional specialism is project and client delivery, as well as opportunity and growth.
What I bring to the table
The ways and means to grow teams, customer relationships and revenue opportunities, through excellent survey management, delivery and relationship building
What I’m passionate about
Embedding and developing relationships that last with our clients, based on mutual respect and trust, not jus for me but for all members of my team.
What I love to work on
International project management is my secret love at BEAM. Developing a flourishing workstream that delivers real credibility and contribution to BEAM is a real work highlight.
